Jon has lived in the community his entire life and loves providing a valuable service to local residents as well as customers throughout the Pittsburgh area. Alongside his brother-in-law, Bob, Jon formed Sir Duke in 2016 after recognizing a need at a local country club and office for a convenient service that allowed customers to have their vehicles cleaned while they played golf or worked. From that simple idea, Sir Duke was born — and they have never looked back. Today, Jon handles much of the day-to-day operations of the business, including scheduling, customer service and overall operations. He also specializes in Sir Duke’s paint correction and ceramic coating services.
Bob has also lived in the community his entire life and has enjoyed helping grow Sir Duke into what it is today. From the early days of operating Sir Duke out of the back of a truck to building a dedicated Sir Duke mobile trailer and serving offices and customers throughout the Pittsburgh area, Bob has played a major role in growing the mobile side of the business. Bob has a great passion for providing a convenient and valuable service to the community and specializes in Sir Duke’s mobile detailing operations.
Zach has been part of the Sir Duke team since he was 15 years old. He spent his summers working with Sir Duke while earning his degree from West Virginia University and has enjoyed being part of the company’s growth over the years. Zach now works full-time for Sir Duke and is a valuable part of our day-to-day operation and team.
Jon Barefoot and Bob Blyzwick stated the business as a service that was wanted at a local country club. Both of us had careers in different fields at the time and just wanted to make some supplemental income. Word got to a friend of ours about our service and he wanted to offer to his team and office. One email went out in 20 cars were booked that following Monday. We knew we had something, but didn’t know where we wanted to take it. Word traveled to other offices and soon we were servicing customers at 15-20 offices in the Pittsburgh area. When 2020 pandemic hit we had to change our business model and shifted mobile detailing at customers houses and eventually added a shop in Robinson Twp. We currently have two locations doing full detailing and mobile detailing. Our mission has always been to meet the customers expectations with price, convenience and the quality of our product.
